Home Care Partnerships
Collaborating with public sector partners to deliver tailored home care solutions.
At Retons Care, our partnerships are built on trust, communication and a shared commitment to delivering care that works. We collaborate closely with local authorities, NHS teams and care commissioners to respond to the growing needs of health and social care services and the people who rely on them.

With more people needing urgent, short-term and ongoing support, we’re proud to be one of the few providers able to offer reliable, high-quality care. Our home care solutions help reduce pressure across the system by supporting people to stay safely at home, with the right support in place.
We offer flexible contracting options, including block contracts and tailored care packages. These arrangements give our partners fast access to care when it’s needed, without the burden of constant commissioning. They also ensure greater cost control and peace of mind during periods of increased demand.
Retons Care currently works with a growing number of local authorities and NHS partners across the areas we serve. With a strong delivery record and a responsive, family-led approach, we’re a trusted choice for expanding care in the community while helping services meet their goals.
Our home care solution
We provide a wide range of home care services designed around the needs of our public sector partners and the people they support. Our contracts cover everything from daily home care and hospital discharge support to carer respite, overnight care and other flexible solutions that respond to local priorities.

Spot Purchases
We work with local authorities and NHS partners through flexible spot purchase agreements, enabling timely access to home care services. This often supports people who are ready to leave hospital but need care to safely return to and remain in their own homes.
Commissioned projects
We deliver a variety of commissioned care projects, typically focused on live-in care or short-term reablement. These often include an initial block of support—for example, six weeks of daily visits—followed by a transition to ongoing home care when needed.

Block contracts
Our block contracts give local authorities access to a set number of guaranteed care hours, tailored to demand. This model offers reliable capacity, better value and the flexibility to respond quickly to changing needs in the community.

At Retons Care, we take a joined-up approach to supporting our public sector partners.
Our home care services are designed not just to respond to need—but to help reduce the demand for long-term care by promoting independence, wellbeing and early intervention.
We offer flexible home care solutions that give partners greater choice in how they meet rising pressures, without compromising on quality or personalised support.
We collaborate with a wide range of healthcare professionals, including nurses, occupational therapists and GPs, as well as local community groups. Together, we help individuals regain confidence and stay independent at home.
This partnership model is why we’ve built strong, long-term relationships with local authorities. Our contracts span everything from hospital discharge and avoidance, to respite, overnight sitting services and short-term recovery packages.
Person centred home care
At Retons Care, we’re proud to partner with local authorities and NHS teams to help reduce unnecessary care home admissions and support individuals to continue living confidently in their own homes.

Our home care partnerships focus on helping people access the right support where they feel most comfortable—at home. We take a strengths-based approach, encouraging individuals to maintain and build on their independence and everyday skills. This helps avoid or delay the need for more intensive long-term care.
We work closely with each person, building care plans around their own goals and choices. Our support empowers people to stay in control of their lives, not just receive care.
Where appropriate, we incorporate assistive technology like medication reminders, safety alerts for baths or appliances, and communication tools to further support safe, independent living at home.
